Shipping Wood Floors

Wood flooring is neither small nor light.

It’s packaged in boxes usually 6 to 8 feet long, about 6 to 16 inches wide, and ranges from 40 to 80 lbs each.
This makes shipping more complicated than small packages and requires more effort to complete the delivery process.

Here's how we ship your floor

As you complete your order, you'll specify where you want the floor delivered to, and provide contact info for someone to meet the delivery in person.

Packed & Loaded

We prepare your flooring on shipping pallets and load it onto a freight truck to ship.

During transport, the freight company will call you to schedule a delivery time.

Meet your new floor

You'll meet the delivery truck at the scheduled time and place and your order will be offloaded onto the street.

Bring it in

You'll move the flooring indoors immediately and get ready to enjoy your beautiful floor!

We Recommend:

- Protect the flooring from moisture as soon as it is delivered.

- Ask friends or family members to help move the boxes of flooring inside.
Or, contract someone else to do it for you, like an installation company, or teenagers.

- You or your installer should follow the NWFA guidelines for preparation and installation of your particular flooring type.
